I'm in supplemental because sites are stealing my content trough RSS

Hi, I have a blog (the one in my signature) and my pages are in supplemental results. When I search for an exact phrase with "", topblogarea.com shows in results, and my page is in supplemental. Other sites also have my content like blogtoplist.com. I have also found stolen content at http://www.cebuclassifieds.com/detail.php?id=16941, yes, stolen and somebody else submitted it with his details.
Now, shoud I stop them from taking my content?
    If YES, then how?
And how do I reclaim those pages so I am shown in results not the leeches?

    Thank you.

perhaps your 'leeches' are managing to get their content into google's index before you. is google picking up a sitemap from you? have you tried setting crawl rate to 'faster'?

i've no idea how to do it, but another suggestion might be to set a delay on your RSS feed so that your content reaches google (through site maps) before anyone else can make use of the syndication?

well, you see, it's not spam, it's called stealing. So I can't really report spam.

You have a few options, one being to remove RSS from your site, which isn't the best option, but an option none-the-less.

Another option is to embed your links with the RSS feeds, so that you continue to get links from people stealing the feeds. This can do wonders, as it gives you links from all the sites that are displaying you feeds and you get unique visitors as well.

Well, as I can see in your blog you managed to stay away from stealers and still got to keep your RSS. Any clue how do I do that too?

This is a big problem and the most annoying thing is you can't do pretty much nothing.

The quickest and easiest way is to contact the site owner and demand they remove the stolen content.
    Did you try this?

You can report it as spam and the correct term in black hat seo is site scraping! See if you report it as spam what happends!

I think the biggest reason for going supplemental is not having enough backlinks. Once you have enough, you will get out of supplemental. :)

I honestly don't care if people are stealing from my personal or business blog. Its just not a priority, nor is it that important. For clients and other sites that it does matter, I make sure to do something.
