it's pretty simple. you got your self decent exposures already and one of your profiles out there in social web 2.0 sites got pinged and it got indexed by Google right away and therefore list you in the top 10. maybe in 2-3 datacenters only though, since you're not showing up in most country. this is normal as Google Flux happened every minute and the fastest I got indexed was 3 minutes due to organized DIGGING.
you're now on number three for google.co.uk - it won't last though you'll as quickly drop off the first page as you arrived there...
As far as I can see, your site is ranked number 5 and 6 in China, But not on the first page for 37 other countries .. Because of browser language settings and ip address, it will most likely differ for most people. I just searched for the term: "top seo forum" but with no "" so I don't know if that made a difference.. I searched around 38 countries using this handy tool You just enter the search term and your domain name and it tells you what position you are listed (if you are in the top 100.) in 38 different countries! Anyway, just thought I would share Cheers James
Yes, indeed. Blogs which updates often tend to get higher positions but it wont last if that page doesnt get enough backlinks. My articles gets indexed in 5 to 10 minutes and if the article is from a non-competitive niche it will be no 1 in google. But this is not such a great thing because those niches bring small amount of visitors.
Do not happy too early. SERPs change very often especially for new indexed pages like yours. Normally new indexed pages may disappear from top .uk or .com or from both in a month. good luck
Google love new content and that is most probably the reason for your post to rank that high. But this new content boost is only temporary.
I see you at number 3 in google.co.uk but I doubt it will last too long. Google just loves blogs and fresh content.
...it used to happen like that sometime in Google. But to maintain it, is the biggest problem. Good luck
