I use to have a straight html/css website that I custom designed but that became to much of a pain in the neck to constantly change to my changing expectations of look and interaction. So, I decided to change to a wordpress platform and now when I submit my sitemap, the previously indexed pages won't show as indexed in the webmasters tools. Is there something wrong with my wordpress theme that is restricting google from easily indexing my pages? Google use to index them right away or within a day. One of my websites is http://www.stopanxietyhq.com .. If anyone could help me out with this, that would be great. Any pointers as well would tremendously help! Thanks
since it is a new site it will be maintained in google sandbox for around 6 months, this is the usual process according to google. you have to work on many sites to get indexed quickly
Quality backlinks and a good sitemap could make all of the difference. Also, sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and poke around in there. Submit your sitemap via the tool in GWMT as well.
Can we have a the URL? without that not much help can be provided. Check if you have any robots.txt that's preventing crawlers to index. Also, generate a sitemap and get some quality backlinks.
