Ok so this isnt the first time this has happened. I think AOL has messed badly giving me a french ip. Everytime i got to google.com, it goes to google.fr, every I visit a site, I get french ads, even here in the header. This is weird
You to check your regional settings. May be you have set your regional settings to french. Go to your control panel and see the regional setting option. It will show you which language is there.
