Before you start any litigation you have to ask yourself, what am I hoping to gain?

From this it looks like you just want your money back and you are confusing your frustration with a want for some compensation

You are unlikely to be awarded any compo because myspace have already said they will release the money and they do seem to have warnings in place

The best thing to do is carry on ranting about it so that you get it out of your system and also do a public service by letting others know about the problems you have faced

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and I hope you get your money back soon

Hey I think that maybe this might not be really Myspace, did u knoew for sure, Did u see the Http/?www. or was this a type of Mirror Site,
I ask this as usually you don't get as far as the Visa part if not an Americanm Citizen. It usually stops short and tells you, that u are not eligible.
    Just a thought, Siobhan.

Alsop, obviously it is never worth suing anyone on the Net. It is also never worth any Lawsuit, fopr such an ammount as the Fees you would pay would be in excess, of that amount probably by thousands, If it was genuinely Myspace, you seriously would be up against it. You are in Kuwait so How could you sue Internationally.

all advt sites have disclaimer and they change terms and conditions time to time also they twist terms and condition to suit themselves. even if you file a case there are very low chances that you will win.

I think the positives of suing myspace are heavily out-weighted by the negatives. MySpace has way too much money to spend on a defense, it's definitely not worth it.

In actual fact because big companies have so much money, they never turn up to court for small settlements therefore you win. Check your facts. They won't bother with $25 themselves so the chance is you can easily take them to court. They shouldn't display a different country period!

Make a screenshot of it where you go through the steps and just don't complete it. Get camtasia if you need to and there is your case. Get a free lawyer and have fun.

I don't think that's going to help much, they'll just order an out of court settlement :/

If you even win, how much would you get?
    50$? 100$?
    Is it worth it?

There was no damage done, you cant win more than 1000$ with even best lawyer on the world. Is it worth it?

In most cases it is indeed a marketing strategy/technique MySpace came up with. It's a part of business and you should know this time on. Just read every word then.

Not sure if suing them will do anything, you should have read the terms and conditions before you began the program

    Here's an update

My friend lawyer said that we'll wait for 30 days, we have an actual case againest My Space because of not mentioning US condition but better to wait for the refund.

My space advertising program is stopped

I don't know what happened maybe they really wanted to fix their TOS,and their $tupid billing system, try to go to myadvertise.myspace.com and you'll get redirected to myspace homepage!
Could it be that after my complaint they stopped their service to fix the issues?

    i received my money

Well, at least i can be sure that no more non-US citizens will be fooled, and that's fair enough for me:)
