Ithink some one is clicking my adds as they think it will be rewarding me, what can i do?

I was helping some one out on a forum, as he has a start up forum, I think he is now coming to my forum to reward me by clicking on my adds....

The thing is, i think ill get banned if he keeps doing this as i think it will all be coming from the same ip! I'm not sure that he is, but i really dont want to get banned. Is there any way of knowing where the clicks came from for a webmaster?

I normaly dont get more than 1 click a day(its a new forum less than 3 months old), i have no exta traffic and toady i had 4 clicks ( ctr 67%) with only 6 page views:eek: !!!!

    what should i do?:(

If you know who the forum member is, you have his IP so ban him. (from cPanel, not your forum)

but i dont think he has actually joined my forum (as far as i know), this wouldnt stop him from clicking on my adds, and i dont think he means to do this in a harmful way. If i could ban his ip from having an affect on google adds that would be great, but i dont think such a function is available (if there is, how do i get into it?) and im still not sure what his ip is

No, I meant ban his IP from visiting your site at all through cPanel. If you don't have his IP, have you tried contacting him at his forum? As far as not showing him ads, thats pretty easy with phpAdsNew although you need to know either what IP he is or what geographical area.

Im not quite sure why you even think it is him.

there is something called adsense adlogger. Use it to prevent multiple clicking of ads of same IP :)

Take a look at your text logs that I'm assuming your hosting provider has somewhere in your ftp site. You can get his IP from there.
