I'm getting mad with bing

I submitted my sitemap to bing a week ago and there is still nothing happening. Unlike google there is nothing to say it has been accepted or not. There is just a button to submit.
How do I know if it's been accepted, and how long will it take to start showing up in the results?

Where did you submit your sitemap? I've only got my sitemap referenced in my robots.txt file.

well that's microsoft, so don't expect much to happen. i hate bing, they are just trying to be like google, betetr than google but that will never happen. so just wait about a year and maybe your site will get indexed

Get links from other important sites to yours and bing will pick you up automatically. Might take some time. Also make sure you setup bing webmaster tools on your site.

I get most of my traffic from Google and Yahoo. Not so much from Bing. I wouldn't worry about Bing.
It does not look like it is ready for prime.

Why not just build some back links and let bing find you? I've not submitted any sitemaps but i see the bing bot in my logs. And I do get traffic from bing. Saves you lots of time :)

I think you don't need submit anything to Bing. I usually do this to make my site on Bing, Yahoo or Google :
1.Just find High PR do-follow blog and start commenting on it.
2.Place Sig Link on DP and others forum.
usually i wait less than a month to see my site on them.
