my domain is 1 yr old one...my site stuff is 3 yrs.......done everything for SEO...,still 0 pagerank..... what the hell is this???y sooo?????
What's the website? Make sure your generating backlinks and minimize outgoing links. I personally don't bother with Pagerank, it's more about bringing the traffic to your website. Use siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com and check where your backlinks are coming from, monitor competitors backlinks and use a new strategy because the one you're using obviously doesn't work.
I would say perservere but a year is a long time in this business. I agree with Scott re the Pagerank. PR is what Google sees your website as being as opposed to your needs (which are visitors I'm assuming). Disregard PR for the time being and concentrate on SEO for time being. Also go over what you have done for SEO. And how many visitors are you getting? What is your site?
Yup, and PageRank is calculated by the links pointing to your site. PR isn't a measurable stat (unfortunately, people still use it when buying and selling domains) but look at rankings and traffic as a better indicator.
If you want a high page rank then you should get a lot of backlinks. I don't think page rank is that important, just try to get a lot of traffic, that's what matters.
Agree also that page rank shouldn't be a primary focus. Traffic is what you need to master. Once you have lots of traffic you can test and refine your efforts for additional conversions. Hope this helps
Could you share with us your domain. Because we need to check what you had and what you need. With out a domain name we cant barely say that do off page work or on page work. What are all the methods you have done for seo? share us if you wish.
Do you still care for Pagerank buddy . Just keep working on your site and try new methods to get regular traffic and generate revenue . If you are lazy than you can try link building service from DP also ..
"0" PR means lack of relevant back-links and quality of content. Keep working on building back-links and keep on updating your site. May be you can add a blog to your site and update things about your industry on that blog.
If you want to increase your PageRank you can easily do so by getting a few backlinks from highly trusted sites. You can determine a sites "trust value" by checking their PageRank. I hope you know though that PageRank has very little do with how well a site ranks for great keywords.
