Place importance on the keywords within your website content. i.e. Look for high paying keywords related to your content. This would in turns have google placing high pay ads on your website and even if 6 clicks per day remains, it would bring you higher then previous earning. You could check your estimated keywords cost per click and volume at https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox
Instead of checking your adsense account every now and then, do dedicate your time to grow traffic. Traffic is the key. No doubt.
He is only getting 6 clicks a day!.. with this kind of traffic, let him try whatever.. nothing is going to change. Grow Traffic.!!!!!!!!!
I think he is complaing more about cpc than the number of clicks. Well, multiply your cpc by a 100 and the earnings will be alot higher than now.
What niche are you targeting? Some will never pay well, no matter how much work you put into it. Also, some niches will fluctuate with the seasons, and sometimes pay less. Here's a good tip: diversify! If the site is not earning well, setup a new one (after doing careful research). Cryo.
Stop saying, "Quality content", "More traffic", "Be Patient". It's been about a year, I've been working hard, and when it started I was getting $0.50 - $0.80 a click, that's why I'm saying it's low.
you must optimize your site . there are many cheaters whose are cheating your adsense places with low click worths
But when it's just 6 clicks, you don't even have enough stats to say it's a definite trend. Your next few clicks could well be back up to the level it started at, there's always going to be a certain amount of chance involved. Even if that happens though, you will only be a few cents richer. You say you've been working hard, but have you been working on the right things? Take a good look at where your earnings are coming from, and maybe rethink your niche and your strategy for gaining traffic.
Guys, I'm just talking about the CPC! I'm saying I don't like how it used to be really high, and now it's low. Even if I was getting 1 click a week I would still notice and perhaps talk about it.
You shouldn't have mentioned your 6 clicks and should have instead complained about low CPC. This thread is my "What in the world???..." moment of the day, thanks lol.
i'm getting angry too buddy i don't want to leave adsense but this has wasted my time too much gaining less.but i won't give it up some day i may succeed.
be patient, I believe things are in transition. I agree with his point that the relevant ads seem to be paying less. I have a lot of unique content, good traffic for my type of site compared to my 'competition' and have tried to optimize as best as I can. My problem is that the top relevant keywords for my site have never really paid well. I didn't develop my site to make money but started using ads to offset my server costs. I have other problems with my site but for my goal of making enough to pay for the server, I'm in good shape. What I am observing is that Clicks throughs are down, I believe because the same type of ads keep appearing, the cpc is low because advertising rates are up. What I am trying is, I changed the ad format from a 468x60 to the 250 square on my home page and recently began to adjust my competitive filter to try and change the ads on my top visited pages. Also, try rotating between only text or image, however I find that some image ads pay even worse. I haven't been doing it for long but the results have helped somewhat. At least with the click through.
