I'm getting a pop-up box here at DP

    I keep getting a pop-up box every time I go to a new page here at dp. Is anyone else getting this?

    ROFL!! Thats A Simple Dp Premium Membership / Advertising Ad!! And It never comes up everytime!!

    Till Now, I have seen the Advertising Related Popup Just Once!! :D

    And am not sure, whether it is Called Pop up since its not a PopUP!! :D

    I never got any pop ups at my end... Is it because I got pop-up blocked in my browser itself or is it restricted to be shown only to non-premium members? :confused:

    You would only get it everytime if you disable cookies. If you are logged in, you never get the advertising slider.

    There is simple solution for that.

    When you get that stupid Ad first time, just click F5 to refresh
    and that annoying Ad won't come back as long you stay logged in.

    I've never seen this. The only pop-up I've ever seen is when you get an Private Message.

    When I got the popups, I was logged in and at the top of the first popup there a url like popupad0.twitter.com. The last popup that appeared for that page had a dp thread. I closed the tab (I was using Firefox) and reopened a new one and went back to dp and this happened once again and a few times more after that. This continued to happen until I tried to post a new thread, and from then on everything returned to normal on dp.

    I had popups yesterday too, strange ones that would have just a few letters or numbers, some of them parts of words. Not the same type of popups (sliders) that promote the upgraded membership. Yesterday was the first time I have had that happen here; cleared my cookies etc. and when I logged in today, they were gone, thankfully.

    i never saw it,as shawn said that ad is for guests only,but still i think its very annoying for users,
