I'm Getting $0.0025 Clicks on Adsense!

I have a site that runs Adsense. Today it's stats were $0.02 earned from 7 clicks.

Yes, that's right. I am getting paid about 1/4 of a cent per click!

WTF?

How is this possible? Please give me some tips and help on how to remedy this.

and what about the traffic ?

 

Perhaps one visitor clicked the same ad 7 times. It was worth 2 cents the first time and nothing for the next 6.

No it is common for me to get $0.01 clicks on this site or less.

Traffic is United States...

 

this is wired man, coz United States traffic generates the best adsense earnings.

Invalid clicks, maybe?

 

Going by your account, it seems your niche is one of the poor paying category. What about the number of unique visitors a day, ctr and ecpm? Care to share the url??

 

Maybe the topic of your site has no one willing to spend money advertising budget on it, the number of advertisers for a "poop-a-scoop" site will be in single digits compared to car insurance

I get $0.25-0.45 per click.

It all depends on your niche and the bidding price for the keywords found on your website. Do a research in Adwords tool and place high paying keywords on your site.

 

Maybe there are less advertisers in your niche.Also, the visitor's country may be the other reason.

 

Usually invalid clicks don't get paid. It will just be reflected in your stats, that all.

 

Since, we started to have traffic quality control. Our system will automatically define publisher traffic to low quality or high quality base on the performance of our advertisers attain from the site ad placement. For the publishers with lower quality of traffic, they will receive ads with lower payout rate. However, when their traffic quality increased, our system will deliver our in house ad which has a higher payout rate.

One of the reason is, the click that you get is generated from those Adwords clients paying Google as per 1000 impression.

 

Is it a proxy site?
