I'm from the great frozen Northeast. It Stinks!

Hi All,

Just wanted to make a quick intro. I really am from Boston. Lately, however, it seems like I'm from Alaska. I have simply had enough snow. Just today I had to break up six inches of ice from under my car that the snow plows so lovingly jammed underneath it. It was wonderful. Four hours, two smashed knuckles and three band-aids later and I was out.

I am brandie-new here. I am a graphic designer and just started my own website specializing in logo, banner, corporate id and facebook design and customization.

I am mainly interested in networking, exchanging links and ideas, learning more about promotion and where the best sites are to put my advertising dollars. When doing a search for ideas on linking and other promo ideas, it seems you get 9 billion horribly designed, thrown together in three second sites. Yeah, I'm going to run right over and give you my advertising dollars.

I hope to share some of my own advice and tip, both from my field, but I will also share info I find from other sources that I think can be beneficial to other small business owners.
