    if there is a differences between Mozilla and IE may be you have an issue with the template

    Lot of things not to be considered, version of FF or IE, your computer system, this question too general, did you try open your site using other computer? and how your site look like?

    It's NOT JOOOMLA compatibility, but YOUR TEMPLATE compatibility.

    Try different Templates, or fix your template's code to meet browser standart.

    it's said joomla 1.16 is not suitable by now, as many extensions are not Compatibility for it.
