You guys are missing the big issue. Banning their IP address isn't going to solve the problem You need to contact the ISP's and webhosts and get the sites shut down.

Yeah I'd do that. Do a whois on there domain/IP and contact there Host. If it's hosted at places like Sealand then there isn't much you can do because it's probs legal there, the guy that owns the platform kinda makes his own laws up.

Nothing is hosted at Sealand; HavenCo failed long ago like the ridiculous joke that it was. But even when it was operating, it was simply using a wireless DSL-speed link from an ISP in England proper. If there was child porn, that ISP would have had to cut them off.

It's nice to see a proxy owner taking responsibility and doing something about this kind of thing. Those users are pretty stupid to think a proxy is enough to hide their activities, surely? I hope they get caught out and punished - people like that make me sick.

Lol.. Though I never use proxy sites and have no interest whatsoever on those kind of sick works. But why did you block specific countries? In my opinion sick ppl are there in us, uk, europe too. You didn't block them did you. Only because ppl from pakistan might have accessed your site this month, what if ppl from us does the same next month. This was a very unjustified and unfair action from your part, and I'm not even from pakistan. You should have simply blocked those specific ips or restricted access to such websites. But banning countries on your biased judgement was just cheap from my point of view. Absolutely no offense meant, but just telling it like it should have been done as another webmaster. Cheerios...

Altough I agree that you should block these people from visiting your website, it's complete bs to block entire countries due to a few sick perverts.
As if you don't have them in the UK, or in Europe. BTW, UK is in Europe my friend, always has been ;)

Make their IP adresses known, contact host of the websites they visited, etc. Let everyone know what is going on. Only taking care of the fact that your website isn't being related to this stuff is just not enough. It's like turning your head when you see some one get raped. "I'm not looking, so it's not my problem."

Remember that an IP address is not proof of anything. While you are free to block and filter anything you like, please keep this in mind before you report people to authorities:

Just make sure that you report the right people. Some of the IPs logged by you may come from an upstream proxy or a compromized host containing a trojan acting on behalf of the individual who requested the childporn. I say this, so you don't accuse some innocent person for searching childpornography.

I wish you the best of luck. :)

This is a good move, the countries are where the most valuable traffic come from and should help your proxy Adsense earnings.

Do you have the .htaccess file or explanation of how you did that so I can do the same? I would greatly appreciate it.
