I don't see why not use aslo moneybookers.com and paypal.com.I mean, why not both? Nothing to loose.Only win
Why do everyone use Microsoft Office where there are other Office packages available? Why do I first log in to digital point...when there are other webmasters forums available. Some 'why's cant be answered.
That is sad indeed. I can only receive payment through MoneyBookers currently because of regional issues with PayPal, but can send money to people through PayPal. Thing is, i'm always stuck if i want to sell something, as the majority of this forum uses only paypal. Trying to figure out better payment methods.
BlindCat your comparison is very not in it's place. It's not that moneybookers.com is less better than paypal. It's because few people from USA, and other countries know about it.I heard more complaints about paypal, than moneybookers. When I heard comlaints about paypal it was related to security of trading.People ask back money from the seller, even if the seller completed his task to send the buyer the files. With moneybookers doesn't work that way;once you sent the money, can't get them back...very fair. So..I would say besides moneybookers has lower fees, it's also better secured
I am using moneybookers and I am satisfied. There is only one problem. When somebody is going to send you money, he must be registered and he must upload his account with money.
Moneybookers will cut only 1.01 - 2.99$ from your credit card ONLY if you upload funds and will cut 1,9% if you will send money. You do not have to pay for registering !
ok, let me ask you a question... Do you find any other merchant provider allow you to withdraw your fund from the account freely, any time and any amount you want? I guess...no one except paypal. As I knew, 2CO doesn't work on this way...you set the limit and they wire to your bank account but not sure others also work on this way. Just my opinion...hope you don't mind
People use Paypal a lot for personal payments and small time businesses but if you actually look at large online companies they are typically using their own merchant account. If you look beyond ebay and small forums, Paypal is not 90% dominant, its probably a minority in the entire web.
and that merchant account is created with paypal, or others like it, but less known. Also moneybookers is starting to become known...I saw that also poker.com use them, also dynadot.com and manyothers...moneybookers has 3 milion users
People use Moneybookers because they cannot get PayPal...because it is not available in their country, they can't get verified, they have been suspended, or their customer cannot pay by PayPal. Is there anyone here who is eligible for PayPal who refuses and uses MoneyBookers instead?
You have true tobycoke. In my country is possible from PayPal only send money not receive, and I had to create moneybookers account for business. I am satisfied with moneybookers, but some from my potential customers, refused to create moneybookers account to send me money. And I understand them. PayPal is now something like standard for small internet business. Unfortunately
As far as I read on forums, at paypal after you sent the money to person "x", you as a person"y", can withdraw the money sent to person "x" and the person "x" will get a bad reputation for that. Also you can't do anything to proove paypal u did sent the files... Well, I was thinking why not be able to proove paypal you sent the files. What if I record(make a moovie screen) of the process while sending the files. What do you say of that?
