I need to create 10 minisites in different niches to sell ebooks through Clickbank. The homepage would obviously be the sales letter, plus about 20 other pages for the affiliate area, privacy etc. Now when I visit websites that specialise in building these 'sales letter' style sites, they all seem to be building it using xhtml and css. Then I keep hearing Wordpress is all the rage - easy to use, heaps of themes and plugins, fastest way for a newbie etc - so I'm confused. What should I use to build my 10 static sites?
If you have limited knowledge of HTML and site design, I would go with wordpress. Even with wordpress you can upload static pages if needed.
Wordpress. No question. Even if you have knowledge of HTML, I would still go with Wordpress. It's predictable. It's consistent across all browsers. It rocks. Install, pick a theme, add content. Done.
I recommend WordPress, because it's very easy to use and it doesn't take you much time to learn how to use. Besides, there are many useful plugins which can work for WordPress. I think it may useful than creating html files by yourself.
Hi, i would recomment wordpress as well. First it is very easy to install, to maintain and it produces validated websites. Second, there are tons of templates on the net you can use. Check themeforest.net for very good ones! If you have further questions, let me know! winternet
If you want something done quickly and easy to maintain, then using a CMS like WordPress is a good idea but if you actually want to know how things like HTML work then I would recommend designing your own web page. It doesn't have to be fancy; it just has to be easy to use and have good content.
Go for Wordpress. By using it you can set the main page to static and add additional pages and posts as well. It will be good in further expanding your site in future as well.
Definitely, WordPress CMS. It's quit good having huge set of plugins, themes, easy to design a website and much more can be done with WP.
I recommend WordPress, because it's very easy to use and it doesn't take you much time to learn how to use.
Just use wordpress blindy... This is the best way to manage your sites and it would be difficult in future to manage HTML sites. Also there are many plugins available for wordpress sites to help you optimize your site better...
For building 10 sites I would probably use xhtml/css to save some resources on my web hosting account - as for Wordpress you need a MySQL database.
