I'm a brand new member so I'd like to just say that this seems like a great community and get to my question.
    O.k
According to bum marketing strategy ( which I'm still learning ) its a good idea to write an article and then send it out to as many article dictionary sites as you can. My question is : doesn't this go against the following tip I found on this site : Do not generate replicated content (within your site or replicated upon multiple sites). All good search engines are smart enough to recognize this (see previous tip).
the previous tip is : First and foremost, search engines will "like" your website if it has good content. If your webpage looks like spam, modern search engines are smart enough to treat it like spam.

If I wrote an decent informative article and posted it on, lets say 10, article web sites, would search engines deem it as spam?
I'm guessing not, but I'd sure like to eliminate any guessing, as most newbies do.
    Thanks:eek:

No I don't think it would, but you should always post different variations of the same article. There are some programs out there that will take your article and go through it word by word and you can select words with the same meaning and such. But if you do ezine articles on too many article sites then you just start making back links to your site. Which may be nice , but you could be doing more work than necessary.

Thanks. I'll use Word to find random synonyms that sound nice to vary my articles in case I'm posting too much.

Is posting 1 article to 7 different sites too much or is there really no limit. That might be too much for one person but it's nothing at all for another, I'm assuming.

on a similar note, I read an e-zine article saying that I won't start making money until I post at least 100 articles. Now I'm sure I'll discover that in due coarse but I can't figure out their definition of an article. I could write 10 articles and post each to 10 websites making my grand total 100. Or it could be the much longer way.
