Hi Digital Point-

I am a bit confused about an infraction point I received this morning. I posted the following after seeing several similar posts when searching for a service in the BST section:

Hey all-

I am looking for a blog commenting service to deliver comments on various blogs around the internet. I am not concerned with people being Pagerank this and Pagerank that... my concern is on the amount of RSS Subscribers that blogs might have. I need someone to go around dropping comments in the "Make Money Online", "Blogging" and "Affiliate Marketing" niches and you need to hit only blogs with a minimum of 100 RSS Readers. There are plenty of these blogs, but it is your job to find the right ones and report back to me with a list of where you commented so that I can confirm your work and issue payment. I am a qualified buyer and need this work done fast. Please PM me with your quoted rate and an example of your quality, only the best will be hired. Thanks.

You could say that we are a bit more focused on removing spam-related services, of which blog commenting is one. Unless you're offering links on your own blogs, that is.

We've never permitted services that offer or promote spam, and we may have been lax in identifying blog comments as one of those services, but the bottom line is that we are trying to remove the threads that are inappropriate, and we would say that lists that are sold to promote spamcentric services would be included in that cleanup.

For example, we don't allow the sale or creation of accounts, and that includes not allowing the sale of tools related to that, such as software that allows you to create them, such as a gmail account creator.

Selling blog lists would facilitate the promotion of spam commenting.
