I've signed up for some student exchange program weeks ago, and for my surprise, they replied and sent me the application. I was the only one in Port Said that had an application and was going for it, until yesterday when I sent some papers to my school to fill in, those bit-@!* called them and asked for applications, now I have competitors and I don't have that 100% opportunity! So, I wanna talk about the whole exchange thingy.
If you have a problem, you should contact directly to the program sponsor. I have difficulty understanding the cause of your misfortune.
So you're mad because your school decided to provide the same opportunity to other students as well? Thats very selfish of you.
Well, I understand the OPer's frustration - he found all the info himself and needed to get info from his school, now other students who didn't do the research are benefiting. That would be like finding a unique scholarship, asking for a teacher rec and then having the teacher tell the whole class. Kind of annoying I would think!
Well, If I spent more than 4 months to get them to contact me (Because their contact info were wrong), and then in a second they give that info to others. I don't think that's selfishness !!
i know how you feel....i participated in a similar program (IAESTE) and got the best mark in their english test....i was going to go to germany and then they told me that all germany applications were refused me and two other ppl couldn't go abroad
