Im Canadian. Amazon.ca is very limited in products.

I want to set up an amazon store with the US inventory. Can I use my amazon.ca affiliate id , or I must register a amazon.com affiliate account ?

Also, can someone confirm this. If I choose to be paid by cheque, no 15$ will be deducted since im a non-us resident ?

    Thx

You must register as an amazon.com affiliate.

Amazon does not charge check fees for residents outside U.S. (i.e. for those who cannot set up an US direct deposit)

Unfortunately e-commerce and affiliate marketing in Canada both leave a lot to be desired. :( Often it's cheaper to order books and movies directly from Amazon.com than from Amazon.ca...so even if your traffic is Canadian, don't forget the .com site. :)

I do get a sale once in a blue moon, can't even remember the last check I got from them, but since you guys are not doing it, I'll just continue with mine.

    Is UK a better prospect?
