Hi everyone Ive decided to build my own custom laptop!:D :) I'm really excited.. Is it cheaper than buying one:confused: ...

So I'm building a laptop right, now all i need is a good website to buy all the parts, I'm aware of newegg.com, but on there i cant seem to find a laptop case, you know the case that carries the mother board, not a carrying case.. So can you guys give me a website to purchase all my stuff, andperhaps give me a few tips, and heads up before i get started!

    Thanks!

I would Really Really Appreciate it!

    Regards!

Personally, I leave the building to the professionals... I prefer the MacBook!

I haven't had the best experiences in the past with ebay, so I'm not going to take the chance of buying expensive hardware from people I don't know;)

Just not worth the risk lol;)

Yes, the educators discount applies to students in k-12, college, and teachers!

    Go to store.apple.com and apply.

I used to have a computer repair store and we used to sell custom made computers and laptops. Custom made laptop will cost you much more then its value and its not going to be very standard i mean you will be having problems every now and then. One of the most expensive part of custom laptop is its case with LCD which might cost you even more then a regular laptop value... Thats what it used to cost about a year back and i have no idea how it is right now :)
