Don't freak out with these arrogant advertisers! If you have the budget and skill sets, many other merchants are happy to work with you. CJ is not the only place to do affiliate marketing, there are markethealth.com, LinkShare, Shareasale, Clickbank... and many other independent/in house affiliate programs.

The sky's the limits. It's their loss to ignore you, not yours :)

Do you think its easiest to make a living with Clickbank or CJ using CPC?

I just want to keep expanding. Until i own a country. And then i run my quest for global domination. Nah jj.

But what would be easiest to make most money through adwords?

Both. Clickbanks high commission is nice, and cj's "reliabliablity" is both good things to look for. It's a sin to stop at only one affiliate network. A Sin!

Im registered with clickbank but don't sell with them.

There all ebooks, which look scammy.

Do people actually pay for them?

Anyone here making big money on clickbank, if you are i might give it a shot then.

Not all ebooks in Cb are scammy, there are decent ebooks in niche like relationship, language etc.

Besides, CB also sells software. I have good success promoting those software.

I don't mean to be intrusive. But compared to CJ, are you earning a lot through Clickbank?

And how often are there stats updated. Because i like how CJ list immediate leads and sales.

    Cheers mate

Should try copeac, smaller number of offers, but instant reporting unlik CJ which has lag time between there reporting and the AM at copeac are great. For example, asked my AM for the top 500 converting ringtone keywords, bam 30 minutes later I got the list.

Rejection is based on the description of your site or the categories of your site. The parameter that CJ is laying out for applicants is not helping us. As suggested by HaltingPoint, write to the company directly and show them your Google stats. For me, I just told one company that my site has PR3 and I got an approval.

HaltingPoint is right. However I try contacting companies with no success.
It's funny, as there are few merchants who have affiliate program with CJ and some other networks. I applied thru CJ, failed. When I applied to other networks, they approved me. hmm .....

after all these experiences I usually choose to work with affiliate programs with responsive managers, like Copeac, Azoogle, or those you can find from ABestWeb forum.

Most affiliate programs on CJ are not managed by CJ - most affiliate managers either work for the advertiser or for a third-party advertising agency that manages the program for the advertiser.

Remember, at the end of the day, there's a human being running the affiliate program program (well, unless its eBay in which case there's nothing but idiots running it) at the company. If you write them a quick email or give a quick call and can concisely communicate that A. you have a proven track record of driving conversions (hopefully within their niche) and B. you do it through ethical means that follows their terms, then its a no-brainer, money-making win-win offer for both parties and they should be quick to accept you.

HaltingPoint: I have done everything you suggest to no avail (via email). One day I may pick up the phone and give them a call.

I would definitely try picking up the phone. And if you get the general operator, try to speak to someone who runs the affiliate program, and if not that, ask for someone in marketing who can direct you to the person who runs the affiliate program.

Any chance you can share the link to your site here? I'm curios to see what could be stopping it from being accepted.
