I'm Being Penalized! Can Someone Tell Me Why?

All of my pages that were ranking on teh first page for my keywords are now no where to be found or are really low ranking now. Almost all of my Google traffic is gone. This happened on May 1st. Does anyone have any idea why?

Your site ranks #1 for wow guide online, #4 for wow guide, and #6 for wow online. Are you sure the site is penalized?

Maybe just a short Google-Hickup - happened to a friend, too and went back to normal within a couple of days...

 

It's because of the update that happened. Google is refreshing their index so that no loose ends will be left hanging. For those site that are either abandoned or half heartedly left alone in SEO terms and link building, it really does happen.

If you are continually doing offpage SEO and link building, then it could just be because of Google dance or the Google algorithm. SEOs know that matter and you better see it if you don't.

 

I guess it is Google Sandbox effect...
