I'm an affilate with someone and my affilate shows up on 1st page of google?

    Here's me question. I'm an affiliate with a "place":) . The thing is if you search for the key terms that I'm affilated with my affilate link comes up in like 7th place on Google. The weird thing is, it's my affilate link. Why is this? It's not even my website that's placed it's my affiliate link. I'm not complaing at all, how does this work?
