I'm no pro at handling the problems related to computer hardware. So I badly need help or advice from somebody on this one. My monitor has apparently developed some problem of late of which I've no idea about. Every now and then it glints of red or blue light - as in when the monitor's being watched through a pair of mild red or blue tinted glasses. The puter's working fine otherwise - the only problem is with the display. I'm afraid it might be on the brink of destruction, but really hope it isn't as I'm going through a lot financially in my life at present. I cannot even assert that the problem is surely with the monitor, it could be something else either. Anyone knowledgeable in this field, please help. I have cleaned my computer for all the spywares and viruses, got rid of the cookies, but still the problem persists. What else can I do, except for buying a new monitor (which I can't afford) for now?
last time that happened to me the video(moinitor) cable/plug was a bit loose at the back of the computer.
You have to try plugging in another monitor (borrow one from someone) and see if the display problem persists. If it does, the problem is with your video card. Try re-installing your video drivers. If it the display works fine with another monitor, then you need to replace your monitor with a new one.
