I'm a lil confused now :)

Had a deal with one of fellow DP member to write some articles for him.

I'm done with writing articles and when I wanted to inform him about the same, found that he was banned, for reasons I've no idea.

May be some temporary infractions or something similar.

I have no idea how otherwise I'm supposed to contact him.

What do ya'll suggest I should do?

How long before he'll be active again?

Thanks for the suggestions in advance,

    ~G

Unless you've had previous dealings with him and, for example, have his PayPal email address then there's no way of contacting him. There's no way of finding out the reason he was banned or the duration unless you ask him yourself, which doesn't sound like an option. Hold onto your articles until he returns!

Go to the banned member profile and there is an option to send email. Try that out.

You could also try to sell the articles in the content area,

Maybe someone else will buy them, at least that way you can cover your time and costs :)

The only way you can contact him is to contact him personally.

Aww.. nah sundaybrew. Though it will get me some quick cash, I wouldn't want to sell what one of my customer wanted specifically.

May be that'll be an option if he doesn't turn up for few weeks :).

    ~G
Shall try that option arpit. I tried PMing, but guess it doesn't work :(.

Got to send a mail and will have to wait.

    Thanks again everyone,

Sell your articles to someone else. I wouldn't wait around for someone that was banned.

that's unethical. at least wait for X days before doing that. best way is to contact via email, then in your email, mention that you reserve the right to sell the articles away if there's no response.

Your right, I wouldn't do it right away, I would try to contact him first, but he did the work, and the articles belong to him until they are paid for. It is also the responsibility of the person that hired him to make the contact.

If I hired someone then got banned, I would certainly find a way to contact the person that I promised money to for a job and let them know they would still be getting there money.

    Thanks for the help guys.

As I stated earlier, I shall mail the person and wait for a reply. He's a long standing member, so may be a 2 week wait is the minimum I'll look at.

I'm not sure, how long the bans normally are for :(. Assuming it might be for a fortnight, shall wait.

    Thanks again everyone,
    ~G

Well find his mail option from his profile and if you have problem than ask Shawn about his Email ID so you will contact with him.

    Or wait for some days.

Get a court order and then, PM a MOD or Shawn about it and they'll reveal the email and whatever stated in order, for you!

    Go, get it!

OR sell them to anyone else

    OR contact him personally...;)
