I'm a affiliate marketer from Germany without a single sale as of yet...

... so I think that I should refer to myself as a wannabe-blogger in the first place.

I started blogggin last year out of curiosity. I hardly knew anything blogging, and to this day I don't a lot about blogging. I'm working on it though. I like my personal blog as it is now. Not perfect (still have to upload the new header image) and I'm still trying to figure out how to ad asense inside your posts. Well, I guess I will have to start a new thread later on if I can't find the answer.

In February I decided to make some money. For awhile I wasn content with living the easy life, having part-time jobs and hanging out with friends. But I have dreams, shooting movies, travelling, and if I'm serious I need money to live the life that I want. Financial freedom is what I'm moving towards.

I could try to monetize my blog, but it's a personal blog, so I don't think that I can do anything there (revived the blog last month, had 600 impressions since then and not a single adsense click). I read something about affiliate marketing and decided to enter the affiliate market to make money. The problem is that I don't know a lot about this market. I made the decision two weeks ago, read a lot about AM, joined several networks and have yet to make a single. I need to learn more.

I'm succeeding because I forced myself to succeed. I spent a few hundred $ for webhosting and some ebooks, and I'm working full-time on this. It's something new, so I have to give it my all. I'm willing to learn and to succeed. I can't accept failure.

I'm glad that I found this community. Hope that I can learn a lot of things on here.

@Michelangelo: Hi, schoen zu sehen, dass sich hier noch andere Deutsche rumtreiben. Scheinst ja ein bisschen laenger hier zu dabei zu sein. Einigermassen Erfolg gehabt mit Affiliate Marketing? An dem Tag, an dem ich das erste Mal Geld hiermit verdiene wird gefeiert.

@Michelangelo: Grueße nach Oesterreich! Ich hab zwar schon länger von Affiliate Marketing gehört, mich aktiv aber erst vor drei Wochen damit auseinandergesetzt. Hab noch viel zu lernen. Kannst du mir irgendwelche deutschen Affiliate Foren empfehlen? Frag mich, wie die Chancen auf dem deutschsprachigen Markt sind.
