Only about 20 have websites.

Proxys are alright for making money but they dry up after a few days.

 

i think you will find elance.com to be helpful. If you wish to set up a new site, you can engage someone to write the ebook or your sales letter for you since you mentioned that you are not good in writing. but first you will need to decide the niche of the product you want to sell.

 

Try to do service for the people.
and you can also design or editing photos of people like in Photoshop.
or you can also try to make an interesting article of your own work.

Find what you do best first then think how you can make money from it. Also, find something you enjoy doing as you will find much more success with something you like doing versus something you hate.

As you said you host websites on your own server, i suggest you try affiliate marketing! All you need to do is post the affiliate partners banner on your websites and make money from the referrals.
My niche is forex therefore i use Referforex, same way you can try affiliate programs of your niche.

The best way to start online is thru affiliate marketing. Don't listen to those people telling you how to get rich. There are some good books on amazon. Plus read what you can on forums like this. And get started!
