Illustrator - Text being replaced by lines when going to print

    Hi All,

    We have been sent a bunch of EPS files from a client, and when we go to print them, some of the text gets replaced by faint lines.

    If you look at the attached photo, you will see a who heaps of faint lines appear under the icons. These are in fact meant to be rows of text.

    If anyone has any ideas on what is causing this, and how we go about fixing it, it would be much appreciated.

    Did u create outlines with the text before create the Eps?

    1. Convert the text in Outlines Ctrl+Shift + O
    2. Convert everything to Bitmap at 300 DPI
    3. Export it as Prepress PDF
