Illustrator questions about masking

    CAn someone tell me how to do this please?


    I have a big box , then above it i have a small circle , if i make a clipping mask i will only see the shape of the small circle , is there a way to reverse it , so i see the big box and hole in the middle(wich was the small cricle).

    well then i think you will have 2 use the patthfinder tool and not masking..

    keep the circle over the box.. then select both then open the align tool in tht u will see the path finder tool.. click on the 2 icon and then on the first icon..

    the 2nd icon is for intersection and the 1st is for expanding...
