    Hello guys,

May I ask what is illegal traffic ? And can it be a problem and bans your account ?

Is these traffic source can be illegal ? :
-Paid traffic (things that are like: 1k for $12, 5k for $19 ...)
    -Advertisement in some illegal websites.
-Direct traffic (all visitors come from no referral website, or search engine).
-traffic from adware desktop applications ( means all traffic comes from some windows software users)
-Spam ( spam emails for example)
    -Computer viruses
    -Spywares.

Does google care about these sources of traffic ??

    Thank you.

    LOL ! :)

Do they say it in their tos ? or it is your opinion ?

    Want also to verify:
Does traffic from desktop applications are also illegal ? Does it mean I can't put a link to my website from my software ? (if all the traffic is from that software)

Paid To Click sites aren't allowed when using Google Adsense. Everything you wouldn't accept to get a link from, is something Google isn't allowing too.

    - Just be smart, do it the good way ;) -

    Here is my opinion:

Google should understand that every website needs some advertisements to make it popular therefore any traffic from good-referrals should be fine regardless of whether they are paid, link-share, friends-websites, ... or any other source as long as they are not fake-traffics by mean that; paid programs such as PPC (pay-per-click) traffics should be okay BUT the problem is that most of the current PPC providers are sending fake traffics to you (e.g. proxy or auto ip generator programs) in which case google knows if the source of the traffic is non-human and in this case yes it is not okay.

So I guess direct traffic is not problem, right? I'm talking about something like making publicity in TV with my url and then many people see the url and enter it in their browsers. Google will not ask from where I get all that traffic when he see no one come from his search engine ??

Also about other points, why traffic from adware desktop applications is illegal ? If the users download the software from the internet, and then see in the software a link:
"Check our website for more free softwares: www.mywebsite.com" .
Then they come to my website, is that illegal ? will google ban me if I do that and get good traffic but 0 visitor is from search engine ??

    Thank you.
