Illegal Activities - Here on DP

Greetings, DP

I've got your attention " Illegal Activities on DP ".

The name says it all....

There are a fair few members on here who are offering services such as -

Verify your paypal account
Sell/Exchange Paypal & eBay accounts


These people are providing possibly illegally obtained information such as bank accounts, credit card information to be used for - verifying paypal/ebay accounts and to create accounts which will then be sold off.

AFAIK - This is classed as fraud. They are creating accounts with information/credentials which they have no ownership of. This is also breaching the TOS of both Paypal and eBay - as both sites have a similar TOS - You the account owner MUST verify the account, You cannot sell, exchange or manufacture accounts for resale.

These people who are offering the service of verifying an account - is indeed creating a felony for themselves as this is using ones documents to a pecuniary advantage.

Now, i guess you are all wondering whats all the fuss about?

- Promoting fraud
- Higher fees to all us customers of Paypal and eBay because higher fraud protection and staffing resources are required.
- Possible scamming - Vulnerable DP members at risk.

I think DP's administration needs to investigate the amount of fraud happening on DP - especially with the Paypal/eBay account verification and accounts manufacturing.

What do you all think DP?
