I'll tell you what the Sandbox really is!

    There's really no such thing as the Sandbox. It's just when Google realizes you don't have enough relevant content for your keyword, and pushes you down the rankings to make room for more relevant content.

    Once your content becomes relevant enough, you come back up. It's as simple as that.

    You can start off doing SEO with some nice keywords, but your content will be SO LIMITED, since you are a new site, that other sites will certainly exist that have more voluminous, and more relevant content. Why? because they've been around for a while. That, and their domain age. This would mean your perceived relevance will go down, and you'll get trashed.

    However, when you become relevant, YOU'LL GO UP!

    here's a good article about relevance http://www.copywritingexperts.co.uk/latest-seo-developments

    I agree. So many people are caught-up in the term "sandbox" like it's a major disastor. Just do proper, ethical seo and you'll see a difference eventually.

    If that was true , the sandboxed site that does not change the content would always stay sandboxed but you come up with the same content.

    I hate to say it, but I completely disagree..

    Here is my story;
    I have a site, 3 years old a .com domain.
    According to DP keyword tool, this domain was in first 10 in serps with over 10 keyword combinations for last two years. It is a real estate site so in first 200 serps for many more keywords..

    Now ;
    Again according to DP keyword tool its is not in any of the keywords that I have been tracking for years.

    Again; According to Google Webmasters tools, nothing changed.. it is at the serps where it should be.. No3 for xxxxxx xxxxx etc.. But, in real life, I mean search terms, my site does not show up at all..

    Now; this site is not banned (I presume :D ) cos G shows 700+ BLs, crawled again last week (usual) serach for website address in G DB, shows all the pages correct.. 113 pages indexed.

    But not in search results.. and it has been like this just over a month now.
    All I do with the site is add alter/delete properties.. Thats all..
    And I have adsense on this site as well..

    If its not sandboxed, what the hell happened to my site ? :confused:

    There is actually a little bit of truth in this, and I have tried it and it does work. It needs a regional end e.g .co.uk but it is possible for superspecific even very competitive to slice through the sandbox. DOne it about 3 times now, but they not for terms like "cheap insurance " etc

    hi,

    your site is not sandboxed. The idea behind sandbox is the site age.

    In the forum there was a thread about a person that lost the rank (using google toolbar) and is still on the same SERP for 2 weeks or more now. Maybe it's google's mistake while updating the PR's in his case.

    In your case maybe you have to wait for some more time and see what will happen, but I suggest that you contact some manager from your google account if anf only if you have not done something spammy. :)

    Regards

    the site is Turkey Real Estate :(

    I thought that it might be only because of PR update.. but dunno.. in that case.. 1-2 weeks should be the max..

    away from the PR updates,

    have you done some SEO?

    check my article on keywords optimization in the keywords forum under SEO. I believe you will find some information on how to improve your PR by improving your keywords.

    So, most probably google was updating their servers, your PR and also your patience.

    Now you are good to go!

    Its not true...
    Google is A LOT smarter than that my friends!
    Of course they made a 'sandbox', which it's purpose is for the prevension of spamy sites ranking up on top...
    There is one. Garantuee!
