In the past, a good portion of my day had to be attributed to what was happening on my machines. Now, I have eliminated an entire process of responsibility ensuring that I can concentrate more on running my business and less on my hosting situation - a lot less. http://clasione.blogspot.com/2007/09/why-you-should-drop-everything-and-move.html
Ehh. If you make good hard backups if anything did go wrong with your host. Only thing I think you could possibly lose is the domain if anything.
I've heard nothing but good news with Rackspace, except from the people who say they are high priced however undoubtedly the high price, obviously improves the quality of the service. But I'm fine with WiredTree and LiquidWeb at the moment, so I don't see a reason to move, if a company is already satisfying my needs. Nice review.
I pay more money now for webhosting than ever before, but you want to know what - It just doesn't matter. They're worth every dime. Now I sleep at night.
Hey, I know what it's like, I've been with a dedicated server company, who literally kept me up all morning due to their stupidity, however it's not always about paying the top price, it's purely about finding a company who can offer you some sort of competence and with the current companies, I'm with, I'm getting a lot more than competence and now I can also sleep, as you! However, I've heard extremely good reviews about Rackspace, it seems they would literally bend over backwards for you and let you cut their testicles out. Perhaps that was a bad way of saying things. However as said, reviews about them have been nothing but exceptional to say the least.
