Ok... will agree with you there. But these "earned" figures that everyone is saying was taken away from them... were they on the daily, weekly, monthly estimates page... or were they finalized in the "MyBucks" page ? And who knows... maybe they will still pay everyone their earnings? I think they deserve adequate time to explain what is going on --- before we make harsh accusations. They have attempted to keep us informed on other issues in their company blog. This could be a 1 or 2 man operation and we are expecting the results similiar to those from the googleplex or something. They have exploded in growth the past few weeks and maybe are having trouble keeping up with it all. I am sure that everything will become much clearer by Dec. 15. Hopefully they will fix things as my widgets are still outperforming my NonSense CPC rates.
Upon issuing a suspension they should provide a valid explanation, not just take a page from the "Reasons for Banning" textbook. You really think they will still pay those who they have suspended? Paying the $25 bonus alone to all members could alone set them back thousands of dollars. I think they should have made it clear what their earnings system was at the beginning, whether Publishers will be paid on CPC basis, CPM basis of CPA basis, no-one really knows, thus when WidgetBucks finally decides there will be lots of unhappy Publishers, and a cloud of negativity will hang over their company.
Yes, I would prefer to receive explanations... but I do not see Google sending them out either... nor some other ad companies I deal with. I do not believe they will be paying banned members. They mentioned the word "forfeit" in their Terms. Hopefully they will open up some lines of communication to discuss these bans. I would bet some bans may have been made by mistake and should be corrected. I also agree with the confusion with their business model... CPC or CPM or is it really a CPA ?
Depends how you earned it I guess - that's pretty broad - is clicking your own ad's earned it ? If someone has spent hours clicking their own ad's, then surely they've earned it. Oh really - um maybe because no one will get paid until the 15th of December. Why would they pay anyone who is suspended ? Imagine how much they've made through people who just try it out for a week or two and then quit - there'd be 1000s of members who sent free clicks - so yes they can easily afford to pay. In conclusion to answering these questions - they are very broad and barely make sense.
