As the day of payment is coming out, widgetbucks has started to cracking on publishers. I can see steady drop in clicks as well with same traffic on same sites. It was understandable as paying 28 cents for any kind of traffic doesn't make any sense. They are product based and traffic from asian countries/russia won't convert at all.

WidgetBucks gives me 2x to 3x the CTR compared to Adsense on a couple of sites plus 2x to 3x the RPC. Other places it just doesn't work because there are no categories that fit the site. Adsense has a huge advertiser inventory and good contextual matching so does a good job of serving ads that have some relation to the site content for almost any site. But Adsense has a big problem with garbage MFA sites that requires constant maintenance to eliminate them, and RPC seems to be steadily declining. Mix and match WB and Adsense seems like a good approach.

Well, we are actually being paid per click, not per action, so it's still a bunch of under handed, shady bS.

I am getting a few dodgy/shady clickers - damn it - 3 impressions for 4 clicks on two of my quiet pages.

eMailed support and no reply yet - hoping I don't get in the sh1t for it.

    Where's your Proof.

I am sick of people saying that they're scammers .... give a reason why and some proof.

How about the fact that like most of got banned on the same day without any real reason. Other networks have the same TOS and have had no qualms in paying us.

    Who got banned ?
The only people I see banned or suggesting they had :

    A) Were on no-english sites. (they've always stated "non English" must apply before hand)
    B) Admitted clicking their own ad's. (I was just testing is common response)

When I get banned I will jump on board with the haters, my only concern was the dropping (confirmed) CPC.

Read the threads today. I got suspended for "Pornographic content" and I run a regular flash arcade site much like all the other arcade. Many people got banned for "fraudalent clicks" without any specific reason.

Maybe everyone getting banned on same day is because it's there regular auditing and inspection day ? Several companies audit before or after payment processing date, I am laying back on advertising for a little while though to see what comes next, I wouldn't like to run a large campaign just to loose it all.

Most companies have automated systems that alert you if accounts have suspicious activity.

I wouldnt be surprised if they are kicking out the non-converting publishers now and keeping those whose traffic converts, thus making more profit themselves.

I want to know... How can they have scammed / stolen / cheated you of any earnings... when they haven't even paid anyone yet ? ... just like with adsense... its not your money till you cash that check.

Technically speaking if you have EARNERD it, its yours!

If you have earned $X balance then you are wrongly suspended then that IS WidgetBucks stealing your earnings & scamming you.

i have very bad CTR as well. But i don't have a product site, which is what widgetbucks is really designed foor. So it's kind of understandable...
