I'm pretty sure this is in the appropriate forum, but if not, please move it. I have a client who just had a security system set up and it functions through a DVR which has a web interface that is accessible on port 100 through an internal IP. What he would like to have done, though, is have that web interface accessible externally so that he can monitor the cameras from home. The main server for the office is running Windows Server 2003 and has IIS. Does anyone know any way for IIS to host a page that would point to that other internal IP at port 100 and enable it to be viewable externally? If it matters, I can change the port. Thanks!
I'm not sure...maybe a VPN ? Most security equipment providers offer remote web based access for free or cheap.
Well, I was hoping to be able to have it accessible through the web, but if I have to I can set up up through RDP.
