So you don't believe him & move on to other things.. That's what I would do, I wouldn't even bother replying to his thread coz I wouldn't wanna waste any more of my time & opinion on an obvious loser.. He doesn't deserve neither, would you not agree? He's wasted my time when I opened his stupid thread, now why would I willingly give him any more of it?

To seek out where he lives on whois & proceed to Google Earth it.. well that just makes you an even bigger loser.

You smell a scam ..walk away from the thread. Period.

People with decent common sense will be able to make out if someone is scamming or not... and people who are too dumb to find out an obvious scam ... are also too dumb to listen to anyone warning them about a scam.... you can't help them... they learn the hard way

The internet is full of junk...but you can't clean it up by looking out for more ... if it looks fishy to you ..just avoid it

To be honest rather than filterting , if we ban the sale of ebooks and all money making threads , that will pretty much solve the problem..

Umm, not quite. We've got offshore hosts offering services illegal here (and therefore not allowed to be advertised here). We've got content writers making false claims constantly to land gigs. The content section offers similar crap. Personally the only person who ever screwed me over here was an offshore coder, so it happens there too. It's far from only e-books and MMO threads. And I know several people (including myself) here who do publish quality niche e-books, so they're not all an issue.

 

Totally agreed...Web hosting services look crap...hostings for 1$ an what not...And yea same with content creation also..

But still i feel more of the crap comes from ebook and money making threads(I myself know that there are some good quality providers) , but still the ratio is less.

I know you cant ban sales of ebooks and all..Its just that it makes me sad when i go through them

 

It's hard not to seem racist/xenophobic when the forum is constantly debased by posters of a certain nationality. It seems the quality to crap post ratio is lower in some areas.

Rather than accuse everyone who can relate to the OP as racist, why don't you point out some of the useful information or serious business offers generated by posters of the countries you assume are targeted by this?

Maybe this would allow us to better appreciate the contributions of those countries' posters.
