IgnorantWalrus - introduction

Hello to whom might be reading this. Nice to see you wanted to know something about me.
I am in my 30's, foremost an author, computer engineer and a blogger. I write things as a living although I hated the task as a kid in school. Even later in life I've wondered why I actually started writing things. I had something of a hatred towards writing, but as life usually goes you end up doing something completely different than you first dream of doing. But let's not talk about work it's such a boring subject.

As a walrus I like seafood and long walks on the beach ( preferably with a philanthropist dentist because tusk maintenance is bloody expensive. ) I told in the beginning of this post I am in my early 30's, to some this means I should be doing some real work as a living, providing as they say. My parents think writing as a profession is something to be ashamed of and I don't blame them for that. Who in their right mind would want to say their son is an author. That's like admitting their son reads and writes books over hunting and other things real men do. Every time I visit my parents my mother just asks are you still a, well you know, do you still ? All I can say to her is yes mother I am still a heterosexual.

Well enough about me and my dysfunctional family. Hopefully we can have a bit more civilized conversations here than with my parents.
