will i get more pr by redirecting empty unused pr n/a domains in the same niche with my site i redirect to by using 301?
PR is a reflection of the amount of "Link Juice" a page has. If you are 301'n a bunch of Pr n/a pages to your page; you may or may not get any page rank from them. PR N/A - means that the page rank has not been determined. So it could be no page rank or it could be page rank of pr5; it just depends on how many backlinks are pointing to it. You see google only publically adjusts their page rank every so often; however, internally at Google the PR is calculated near real time; however only updated periodically to the public. So if your 301 domains do not have any backlinks to them; then you are waisting your time 301'ing them to your main domain. However, if you start posting links to all your 301 domains including your homepage - you will see your page rank increase, sometimes pretty substantially on the next pr update. You could just shoot all the links to your homepage directly; however, if it is a new domain you may be at risk for a penalty. Hope this helps.
thanks for reply, it also helps to make a page on the domain and just add the links normally like you would with a normal html website right?
Never, your question has the answer in it. "will i get more pr by redirecting empty unused pr n/a domains" How can a empty and unused domains of any niche have a page rank and you expect it to pass the link juice to your domain. Even if you do 301 redirect, it's considered as cloaking, your website will be penalized for it. My advice, please don't do any black hat techniques in order to gain instant success.
ok but what about making a html page on a domain with pr and adding links on it with no other content?
