Does it count as a backlink? Is there any value of that?

    Thanks for reply.

No it doesn't count, it's just text.

Thank you! I found no-follow link still have value in serp. I have a blog which was ever in wikipedia and it ranked well in google. After it was kicked out, ranks bad.
    Am I right?

No offence but im supprised you would ask something like that for 290 posts.

A link has to be clickable to be a link RIGHT? So if its not clickable, do you think it would be considered a back LINK?

Actually, I have seen some non-clickable text addresses appear as backlinks - at least when using iwebtool's backlink checker. Here's an example; the 3rd link from ebay is in plain text. Other tools don't show this, so perhaps it's false.

I'm sure search engine bots are clever enough to spot http:// urls within text. I guess they'll be given relatively low weighting, depending on the relevancy of the page and the nearby text.

You are right. I asked this question because iwebtool back link check tool.

imgtube, I can't understand what you are talking about. Is there any relationship between 290 posts and my question?
