unfortunately i don't know what EMD means anyway, if you don't need a .com (or ccTLD for the specific country), then you can use any TLD but there is no reason to use a .co instead of .net or .org
Exact Match Domain Once again, I agree with you here and would only use .co if .com, .net, and .org were taken. I was just trying to address your comment earlier that ".co is never good." In some cases, .co is just fine. But I wouldn't use it for an ecommerce site or if I was going for a branded domain.
i was reacting to the previous post referring to O.co that actually redirects to a .com do you think exactmatch.qzw7-3.org is worse than exactmatch.co?
If I was trying to rank for UK traffic, then exactmatch.co.uk. For US traffic, I would go with exactmatch.co. I've found exactmatch.co to rank fairly well in Google.com, but not as well as a .com, .net, or .org would (on-site and off-site SEO set aside). Also, .co keeps the domain short and I would bet that very few of your visitors would know that it is the ccTLD for Columbia.
Always .net and other TLD's or you can edit your .com to make it avalible. Add a plural, add words etc.
