    Hi dear friends,

I know there is a lot of professional people here and I am quite new at this so I wanted to ask the following:

If money is not a limit (the price of the software) , which software would you be buying in order to have an edge in your promotion of your site in general... I am interested to know which softwares (if any) would you recommend for any of your marketing methods...

Thank you very much for your time and help...

    GS

Software is good for researching and tracking but it ain't gonna build links or write content. It can help test results and check where your site needs help but it won't do the hard work which is required for white hat SEO.

That said, I use WebCEO to track my SEO efforts.

I agree with SEO Ranter. Tools these days can't really help you. They can only let see whats happened in the past. How is that going to help you in the future?

It can't. Sure, you might be able to spot some more places to get links from, but you can get that info free anyways. As far as other aspects like on-site optimization and link checking... big deal. The only SE's that look at onsite stuff very much any more is MSN and Yahoo, other than that, it's all about the links you'll get later on.

I got SEO Elite quite a while ago, and now only use it to quickly check my rankings for all my terms.... other than that, it doesn't offer me anything seo related.

well... why do people learn history? OK, closer to the topic - how are you going to analyze what to do in the future if you do not know your past and present? So tools give you information necessary for analysis.

And I think that paid tools are more trustworthy than free ones, unless you create it by yourself for yourself :)
