If you were in my shoes, EXACTLY what would you do?

Okay, I have to admit, the frustration level is "through the roof" right now!

I'm going about this all wrong. I have 3 websites:

www.chuckypita.com
www.toastmasterjunkie.com
www.goldentouchinsurance.com

THEY SUCK! I'm getting only 4 unique visitors per day?!?!

My adsense sucks, my whole system sucks... and I want to cry over a toilet bowl.

So here's my question:

If you were "Charlie Smith" - owner of those 3 websites -

Exactly what steps would you take IMMEDIATELY to increase traffic and make more money via ADSENSE?

5. Give up and get a job.

Nothing comes without work online. You won't get results immediately.

 

i would simply used only one ad inside the article 336x280 (text ad)
and remove the rest of the ad and dont use the old channel, just take a new code for adsense, blend it but without any channel and paste it on your 3 websites. and just try to have some good keyword on each site, plus make some 4 to 5 digg account or stumble account and do some digg and stumble, share your site with you digg frens, technorati, stumble upon, and last go to spicypage(dot)com and register their and submit your site, a very good way to get traffic, and you can submit your site georgraphical wise, like nagalandclassified(dot)com, make your site available georgraphically, that way your earning and exposure to your site will be much better.

I would say 1) Keep writing content. As long as you provide quality content, you should be ok.
Promote your websites! Nobody is going to visit your site unless they know about it. Don't give up.

 

Decrease the NO ads units.

Making the big rectangle ad to a small rectangle ad unit.

make the content so easy to read. In the site the content is messed up with the ads and other side bars.

Buy some adwords traffic and test these changes.

If this is not working I will make more changes and test them.

Still if it's not working I will try another niche.

While there is no magic button or secret formula to online success.. (at least not a persistent residual business *wink*), that's not exactly great advice, telling him to give up.

Chuckypita, You've been living in a dream world with everyone else that once you make a website online, you're instantly going to start generating thousands of dollars for nothing.

Overall, the website is very nicely laid out and all in all it is not a bad website. If traffic is your issue, remember to ping after every time you post new content.

Just be consistent and don't give up! Don't join 99% of Internet Marketers who give up out of pure frustration because they couldn't instantly generate riches online. Keep posting and keep updating and you WILL see results.

-take that youtube video off or put it somewhere that is more fit
-put proper title and description on every pages.
-move top left ads to somewhere else.

-change both 2 ads units from top of page to somewhere else, and edit the one under menu bar to show properly.

Overall
- do some keywords research and put those keywords in title/describtion of the page
- write more content with keywords in it.
- find more back links for all sites. (can buy links or just submit to directories or even make comment in related blogs.)
- put keywords in your signature as anchor text instead of just a url

Spend a few days investigating more on those niches and write some quality articles... and submit a sitemap,submit articles to social bookmarking sites like digg,etc and wait until all those articles get crawled and indexed in google.. and if the articles are good, you can get a decent amount of traffic via search engines.

Did you THought of ANy IDEAS before buying 3 domains...

If you had the Idea Naturally you should know what you want with the site.

Buying domain and opening account in adsense doesnt means you can earn 100 $ in 3 months .

it will be on the Blogging section... within next month i will start blogging.

 

It has to be option number 1 - Keep focusing on content and writing articles.
Sometimes we just have to be patient and don't give up easily. Eventually you will hit it right if you use happen to use the right keywords.

 

To be very blunt: Those three sites are borderline MfA. It's blatantly obvious, that you simply picked three topics just because you expect high paying ads from their associated keywords. Trouble with this is: Everybody tries to do that and visitors quickly see through this. The result is unsurprisingly those 4 uniques, you see per day. From that perspective, you can pretty much forget every previous suggestion made in this thread. Even though the posters are correct in general, they like you missed the point entirely, which is that your whole concept is screwed to begin with.


What people are looking for is information, not opinions. An opinion is something people usually already have and generally they do not come to your blog just because they want to read yours. In short: Scrap, bury and start all over again with a topic you are knowledgeable about.

 

I'd say:

1 - Get ride of those templates for 300 years
2 - Buy a new domain name (niche)
3 - Start a new site in new domain targeted to small niche

You need to work harder and I would throw the domains away and get a new website to work on it.

 

You need to build the traffic slowly FIRST and THEN put the Adsense ads. Not the other way around.

 

Ahhhh!! Dont give up. A little Hardwork is required and thats all.
