IF you were going to...

If you were going to purchase a link, say pr8 to boost up your site, add plenty of good backlinks 3,4,5's. How long would this take, and what type of site would you look for of course your closest niche.
Also type of link placement(home,sub-pages). Knowing the link would need to be in place for a long time, what would a fair price be?

Firstly wou wouldn't want to mention to anyone here about purchasing a link with all that seems to go on and penalties.

It would be hard to determine how a pr8 link specifically could make a difference, probably make some difference, but how much would be hard to gauge now.
Same with the rest, its hard to determine a price, pricing something that is going to change and at the same time thinking long term adds to the difficulty.

pipes, I'm watching the forum, adding up what some of these guy's are spending, to get where they are going. Wow, but I guess if you had a few sites and were selling, it be worth the chance.

With all these penalties it's very hard to determine a fair price.
Webmasters are exposing at risk their sites by selling links and that's something to be taken into consideration.
