If you want to calculate your trafic...

I was using overture/digital point tool to identify keywords and estimate traffic till now. But more and more opinions appear to be not in favor of it anymore. In this wake, I think it is critical to have an idea of predictable traffic to your site with reliability.

I call upon all experts here to share their knowledge and sources to my / others' benefit.

Hey there,

Alexa can give you an idea, but it is not really accurate. People have to have the alexa toolbar installed so it can track it.

If you are using a dynamic programming language for your website.. coldfusion.. php.. asp.. just look into the cgi variables and you should be able to track your traffic exactly.

Yes, but I am more interested in the searches per day a keyword commands as a foundation to choosing that/any word.

 

I can't find other tools better than Overture in terms of keyword selection and traffic estimation..

 

The tools in Google Adwords account are phenomenal.
