    Hi all,

After 9 months using adsense, with no warning my account was banned and my appeal turned down.

I have always abided by googles rules, and did not even recieve a warning as to what they thought i was doing wrong.

To anyone using or thinking about using Adsense i would strongly suggest they reconsider, due to the fact that they provide NO customer service whatsoever. There is no phone number or even humanised email address for people to contact.

So just like that 9 months worth of earnings gone, with no human contact.

Im just putting my experience out there and hoping it can save others from some pain.

One of the AdSense rules is something about "Privacy" which need to disclose third party collect visitors data blablabla

Well my site requires users to register, so they automatically agree to my T&C to be able to register, which has info about cookies in that.

But yes, before my appeal i did include a page specifically for Googles privacy policy and yet it was still turned down.

    Not impressed

Are you saying that there is no privacy included before you were banned?

Im saying that members who post agreed to my T&C and in those T&C there is info about cookies, just not specifically Googles cookies.

If it was simply the problem of not including thier privacy policy why not just email me? ANd why did it take over 9 months (and lots of earnings) for them to realise?

All i am saying is just be wary of Google. They do not value their customers or their advertisers. They think they are a law unto themselves. The fact that it is not possible to contact any person should have set alarm bells off for me.

    Do your research people.

find the real cause of ban, there are 100s of sites running with no adsense policy but they don't get banned... find the real cause.

Lot of truth to that, specifically that I complained about my adwords account that I was being frauded by a couple sites (bluelaguna.net) being one of them who begs users to click their ads on their pages, and they did nothing.. no reimbursements or anything. Found out today they disabled the adsense account and provided no information as to why, it was very vague other than a paragraph about high risk, which I think is because one or two people spam click ads and I have no idea what is going on. I just wrote in my appeal that I am shocked they don't have any way to protect advertisers and publishers from such behaviors and that anyone could really get anyone banned from adsense given enough effort. Good news is that I intended to drop adsense anyway and google altogether.

Although AdSence might not have the best customer support, they are still one of the leading advertising and publishing companies and for most people pay on time. I don't think Google would look to ban an account just so they don't get paid. They probably had a reason.

If they sent you and email notification you can request a resend in the link given below.
You'll need to enter your PUB ID and your website address for this.

Sorry to hear about your loss.
The bad thing is there is no comparable alternative just yet, so despite your case I doubt anyone's mind is going to be changed on which network they use.

Although, I bet if you were also an Adwords client that put a lot of money in, this ban wouldn't have taken place. Can you clarify if you were an Adwords user, and if so, how much your budget was?

yea theres nothing to worry about when banned from adsense. I mean personally if I was banned I would either use another PPC program, OR as stated above. Ask a sibling or parent if you can use their info and in return you will pay them like 5% or maybe they won't mind doing it for free.
