hi, i dont really have any blog. and i'm planing to create 1 good blog. i just need some advice. If you start a blog now, what niche you would chosse depending on current situation. as my main income source will be adsense from that blog. if you advice, it will be very helpful for me. thanks well what comes in mind right now: Webmaster Blog Technology Blog Celebreity blog Health blog thats all i can think about. what about you??
imteaz, Don't go for what's "hot" now... coz not necessary that what's hot today will remain the same tomorrow. Choose a niche what you love to write about, which you are an expert in, which does not bore you, which can speak about even in your sleep. Nourish and build it and soon you'll realize that you did the right thing. Regards, ~G
If you decide to go only for adsense earnings then started some health related blogs, but as said uniqueness is the key to get more traffic..
I agree 100%. Pick something that you enjoy writing about, don't pick it because it's hot at the moment. I did that a little while back with a blog, and it didn't last too long. It's not because the content was bad (people seemed to like it actually), but it's because the topic didn't really interest me from the beginning.
everything you listed is a completely packed niche, unless you go even more specific. A good blog topic is something not so straight forward. Rather than blogging about specific things with search engines, why not blog about socio-economic trends that have occurred from the use of search engines in day to day life. Or a blog that deals with the ethical issues involved in online marketing.

i love poems, i pick poems. pick a topic you're good at. the range of topics is very diverse, from mortgage to dating. go for what you're good at.
patswald, i know how to install wordpress. but i cant adding custom fields, implementing adsense, adding tags stuff i gotta learn those stuff. can anyone tell me where to learn those stuff? thanks
The one you mentioned in the posts are going to be pretty hard to market. The market is filled with these blogs, if you just do a search for it, you'll know.
If you're an actual expert...Tech. If not, celebs. My Celebrity Blog gets about 78,000 uniques monthly and doesn't take too long to update.
I might choose to have a tech blog or a health blog. mainly because I know tthat I could post a lot about them.
If u want easy traffic, you go with celebrity Blogs (but payouts will be less). You will get traffic without much effort.

I like self improvement or weight loss is very big topic no pun intended. And health would cover the ones I mentioned.
Go with your own niche and your hobby. Something that deals with your passion would be your best bet since you'll be constantly on it.
