If you put more than 3 ad image blocks does the 4th not show?

I am using wordpress and I noticed everytime I put more than 3 ad image blocks the 4th one never shows or shows blank square.

is this normal and wordpress has a built in script or is someone hacking my site again and placing their own?

    I am wondering if this is normal that only 3 ads will show at a time on wordpress.;

You allowed to add only 3 ads blocks on the same page.

Try reading the terms and conditions for adsense...

You are only allowed a maximum of 3 ad units on one page

I personally found that even 3 is too much and reduces CTR's

    Good Luck,
    M

i think google will limit to three even if you tried putting the 4th. If you see more, chances are they are from different adsense accounts. That's my guess at least.

I do not think so, if the content good you can put four ads, but still present the risk is very high

Shh..... don't read the TOS. In a couple of weeks you won't have to worry about Adsense at all.

It simply because you are only allowed to used 3 ads code per page (actually, for much better results, you should use 2)

    It is normal.

There is nothing to worry about.

Google knows that sometimes webmasters have to put Adsense code in templates and this means that the code shows up more than 3 times on a page.

Google automatically limits the number of ad blocks to 3.

No you cant, the 4th will not load at all. In fact I think none of the ads will load if you go over 3 content ads. You can use 3 link ads with 3 blocks if you want.

As Per the TOS of Adsense,You are not allowed to place more than 3 ads in a page.

Google will automatically stop the 4th ad from being displayed even if the Pub ids are different...

    thanks guys!

but how do those people who ask for donations for their plugins ad their adsense to your site?

is that illegal and how can I check my site to see if its completely free of these sneak ads?

No ads should be shown after the 3rd one. But I have seen sites that have more than 3 adsense blocks, they either use iframes or other technique.
