    I'm surprised. With your personality (that I assume would be conveyed on any site you have), I figure people would clamour to leave it the second they got there and click the first advertisement they saw, screaming "i dont care what this ad says, just get me out of this site!"

    Tell people you work at a gas station, especially when you start making good money with adsense.

    People will want to know how to do it themselves and when you don't have time to teach them they get mad at you.

    At most I tell people that I write articles for few small websites and leave it at that.

    If you want to tell them what you do, tell them you work for google or that you're sponsored by google, the girls love that one.
